Zola Saran (born 5778), is an artist, designer, and entrepreneur. She and Marzipan met when they were both working for Integrated Power Solutions, and they quickly became inseperable. Zola was working as an administrative assistant, a thankless job that she tolerated in order to support herself as an artist. She and Marzipan bonded over their shared love of minimal techno, pomeranians, and string theory, and could often be found gossiping in the break room over matcha lattes and macarons. While Marzipan was working for ACE-COD, they kept in touch and Zola was one of the few people who knew of Marzipan’s secret identity. When Marzipan returned to Eupraxia, Zola encouraged her to write a memoir about her experiences. Zola photographed Marzipan for her author photo, and went on to collaborate with her on the Spaced Out show, serving as costume designer. She and Marzipan co-own a gallery and lounge in a spaceship called Flying Saucer. She later launched her own fashion label, Flying Saucer Workshop.
